Accessorizing

As any anxious introvert will tell you, a good tea mug is a vital accessory. A good mug is perfect for those days when you need that extra boost of energy to make it through the front door or those nights when you just wonder if you can consume enough chamomile to get you to sleep at a reasonable hour. Here's a selection of my favorites, accumulated from various travels and adventures. "Stop working, start traveling" - I got this mug at a hostel in Jerusalem. It's a good reminder to keep adventuring, even when the furthest out of the house I can make it is the back porch. "Come, let us have some tea and continue to talk about happy things" - this is my favorite mug from when I worked at Teavana. Positive conversation can certainly boost one's mood, if you can hear it over the din of your brain's deafening clamor. "Have a nice day!" - purchased at a dollar store in Tokyo. LBL (Little Black Leggings)

I picked these leggings up from the pile on my floor because I knew the stretchy material would give me enough leeway to not activate my body dysmorphia. If there's one thing I hate about jeans, it's how sometimes when I bend over and the waistband pinches my stomach slightly, I'm thrown into a pit of low self-esteem for the rest of the day. Waistband sizing, amiright?! Make sure to shove the pile of unfolded laundry out of the way before taking glamor shots. Some may say that leggings don't count as real pants. To them, I say that whatever gets me out of the house with all my bits covered counts as real clothing in my book. Throw a cotton dress on over your leggings to make it look like you're trying to dress up, or just pair them with a sports bra and yet another event t-shirt to show you've got nothing to prove (and probably wouldn't have the energy to, even if you did). ----- Body dysmorphia is common in women and femmes, but isn...
